About Us

We design play based learning environments where children explore, experiment, and discover new ideas every day. Our highly trained educators guide and support each child’s play, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence while ensuring a safe and nurturing setting at all times.

Our newly renovated facility features over 5,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed learning space. Each classroom is beautifully decorated and filled with natural light. Outdoors, children enjoy a playscape crafted entirely from natural materials and designed by our own teachers. Indoors, we offer a dedicated muscle room for active play during cold or rainy days, as well as a sensory room that is refreshed weekly with new materials for exploration. Our library houses more than 2,000 books, inspiring a lifelong love of reading and discovery.

“I was looking for a preschool where my kids would be loved and supported and where they’d develop an excitement for learning. The Learning Nest is just that - a community of teachers who love what they do, teaching our kids foundational academics and important life skills. My little ones have gained confidence, independence and creativity alongside the academic building blocks. The Learning Nest has our children set for success in kindergarten and in life!”

“We are beyond grateful for this preschool and its absolutely incredible team of teachers. From the very first day, they’ve been nothing but warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to every child’s growth. You can feel the love and care they pour into everything they do.
What stands out most is how they tailor learning to meet each child’s individual needs, they really see the kids for who they are. Our oldest child has thrived in ways we never expected, and it was all thanks to how dedicated and supportive they were of him.
The environment is not only nurturing but also enriching. The teachers are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always communicative. It’s clear they genuinely love what they do—and it shows.
If you’re looking for a place where your child will be valued, supported, and challenged in the best ways possible, this is it. We feel lucky every day to be part of this wonderful community!”

“At The Learning Nest you’ll find an incredible staff of intentional, highly qualified, and deeply caring teachers and staff. There is nothing I want more as a mother than a place where my children are safe, loved and have an absolute blast. The Learning Nest has surpassed all of my hopes and expectations for a pre school!”

Note From Our Director:

Dear TLN Parents,

It's hard to believe that October is over, and we're already looking forward to the holiday season at The Learning Nest! October brought so much excitement and fun to the school. For me, the highlight of the month was our Boo Bash family event. Seeing all the families come together and enjoy a night at the school truly filled our hearts. Boo Bash would not have been possible without your incredible help and support. We especially want to thank the committee of parents who dedicated so much time and effort to make the event such a success.

Among the many fun classroom activities in October were pumpkin science experiments, a Halloween parade, Kids in Motion with a special visit from Wanda the Witch, and People and Places with a visit from Rude Rodney! It was a month of non-stop fun!

In November, our focus will be on giving thanks for all our blessings at home and at school. We will begin the month with school Picture Days on November 3rd and 4th. We will also have a special visit from the Milford Fire Department and enjoy class Thanksgiving feasts! Please note that school will be closed on November 26th, 27th, and 28th to allow teachers and students time to celebrate Thanksgiving.

We will kick off December with a special Jingle and Jammies night, where children can spend an evening at school while parents enjoy a night out! More information about this fun event will be coming soon. During the week of December 8th-11th, we will have classroom Christmas parties. The school will then be closed from December 15th to January 4th for an extended Christmas break.

At The Learning Nest, we have so many things to be thankful for this holiday season. Every day, the teachers and administration are grateful for our students, their families, and everyone who has supported us in our new building. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season with your family and friends!

With a grateful heart,

Kelly Braun, Director of The Learning Nest
